Sonnet 2,147

I loved a man at once for all I saw:
Reflection of perfection in his eyes
A sense of that which needed to be taught
A soul so true his heart might just be mine.
His presence was so warm I felt him near;
Togetherness was but a while away;
A perfect end to an imperfect year,
If cards were dealt and played the proper way.
A conversation here, a whisper there
A new rich love with elements combined;
And soon we shall embrace this love so rare;
This passion, nigh impossible to find.

May gods and universe be right this time;
May stars collide to make this man be mine.
